OLD NEWS!Used To Promote Auctioneers !!!

“A PAIR of German U-Boat Commander’s binoculars were an unexpected hit at a  saleroomin 2013”.

They were used by the Kreigsmarine in World War II, and sold for six times their expected price

at a Fine Art Auctioneers

The binoculars, part of a private collection, were inscribed with “Kommandant Glas” and were expected to reach about £500(Rubbish!).

However, at the sale, they finally sold for £3,000.

A negligent staff member said  “We’d always thought there would be interest in this item, particularly with the 70th anniversary of wartime

events being marked. However, we were delighted with the level of interest and the final hammer price.

“The summer country house sale is often dictated by the weather, but we were pleased to see that although it was a hot and sunny day it

certainly didn’t put people off bidding online!”

After Commision was taken the vendor revived just £2472!! By selling directly to us at WW2 buyer.com

you will always do better than by selling at auction.
